Successful Internal Communications

The ability to communicate effectively within an organization can mean the difference between a business succeeding or failing.  Communication skills are required for all professionals, but clear and concise communication among co-workers, departments and vendors is essential to not only keep deliverables on task, but to create a strong sense of unity.

In this presentation, Oregon & SW Washington’s Association of Financial Professionals will learn tips to be better communicators, as well as how to be better listeners.  Attendees will come away with an understanding of:

  • The best medium to communicate messages
  • How to tailor messages to target audiences/teams
  • How to have a clear call to action
  • The appropriate delivery tone

Attendees will also get an opportunity to put these tips into practice through scenario training and giving everyone hands-on experience.

Casey Boggs is president of LT Public Relations, directing the strategic communications efforts for corporations, financial institutions and public sector clients. Before forming LT Public Relations, Boggs served as public relations director at AIG, leading the public relations efforts of six affiliated companies.
