The scale of data available today is incomprehensible, and the challenge of extracting and understanding what’s important becomes more difficult with each passing day. Traditional graphical attempts—plots, pie charts, and bar graphs—lose value as the amount of data grows and the complexity of its relationships expand. Decision makers are often lost in a sea of numbers, where detail overwhelms content and individual facts obscure understanding.

Mr. Kagan presents a case study comparing the use of traditional data visualization techniques and the B4_UR_IZ software platform.  He draws on more than 35 years of experience in international finance, management, and operations. For nearly half that time, He worked as an independent consultant, managing major transitions, turnarounds, and recoveries and negotiating successful trades, mergers, and acquisitions. Prior to that he was a Senior Auditor for Arthur Andersen. Mr. Kagan is originally from South Africa and holds several degrees in international cost and management accounting and is also a chartered account.  He has spent the last 4 years developing the B4_UR_IZ software platform which has recently received patent approval.
