Trade Finance and the Global Supply Chain

The Oregon AFP's very own Susana Ferraris will explore the topics of Trade Finance and the Global Supply Chain, including an overview of service providers, tips on making the case for an Integrated Supply Chain System, and provide timely tips for CFO's and Treasurers in light of the current interest rate environment.

Susana is an international business executive with more than 20 years' experience as a leader in the field of international trade. Before creating Velella Global, Susana led the creation of a new Nike offshore trading company and established an in-house Trade Finance function based on a cutting edge, fully automated, multi-provider trade platform. Prior to her work with Nike, she was Trade Finance Manager at the Gap, Inc.'s Corporate Treasury in San Francisco.

Susana also worked in the international trade banking arena, including stints at Bank of America, San Francisco and New York; Credit Lyonnais, New York; and Credit Commercial de France (CCF), New York. Susana is a member of the World Affairs Council of Oregon, and served on its Board of Trustees and Advisors.
